A piece of my family
I've always been one to take and keep a lot of pictures of family and friends around me at all times. So when I moved away from almost everyone that I knew to New York City, I made sure to take a lot of my photos of them with me.
I saved a lot of my photos online and printed them off with the money from my clear directtv bundle savings. I had brought some picture frames with me when I moved, but I also went around to a bunch of flea markets over a couple of weekends and got some great picture frames.
I almost had too many pictures to put in my frames so I had to stick some extras on my fridge, which just seemed to make my apartment feel more like my own anyway.
Once I got all of my pictures framed, I hung them up on the wall in a kind of photo collage that looked really neat and homey. I'm excited to make new friends but I also want it to feel like my old friends are here with me.
Need Help!
There was a week that I haven't taken out this two rugrats out and they got bored. So, the buckaroo decided to try lamb chop's jumperoo and this is what happened. He got stock in it and scream for help. I told him im not gonna help him. He he knows how to get in there he should figure out how to get out from the jumperoo. He tried so hard and he made it. The lamb chop was his coach i thin hahaha just kidding. I had to dis assemble this toy and put it up in the attic.

Dexter: The Deadliest Show on Television
One of my most guilty pleasures is sitting down and watching the deadly, and sometimes humorous, escapades of Dexter, your favorite neighborhood serial killer. Dexter is one of the leading experts on crime scene blood spatter. He also happens to be a serial killer…with one catch. He has a code of ethics. Taught by his foster father Harry, Dexter has a strict code that enables him to kill people with vigilante justice, all while satisfying his incredible thirst for killing. Despite being a raging psychopath, Dexter is able to conceal his antisocial personality and interact with people around him, including his sister, his girlfriend, her two children and his co-workers. The complications in Dexters life are magnified as he struggles with his social relationships and attempts to maintain both his counterfeit identity and his ability to duel out justice by killing other killers. Last season ended with Dexter fans on the edge of their seats as Dexters girlfriend was killed. While Dexter did not kill her, he had a direct hand in her death. Fans have had mixed emotions of the demise of Rita, and it will be interesting to see how the next season begins.
Dexter stars Michael C Hall. The series has an exciting list of special guests and season four saw the introduction of John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer. Michael C Hall will continue his role of Dexter during the return of next season.
This 2010 season marks the fifth year of Dexter and contains surprises and new adventures for Dexter fans. Be sure to tune in to your cable tv deal and watch the new, exciting episodes of Dexter, premiering in September, 2010!

I've been meaning to post this before Joe had his surgery but i kept procrastinating. Then I got busy running around while he was recovering and got virus in our computer. So, the result of my procrastination I failed to post some of my post including the sponsored post. I was shocked when i open my computer and a spyware started scanning. Our anti virus didn't able to blocked the virus because they are the one who give the virus. Well, I don't want to talk about that darn anti virus who had a virus grrrr. It's really good to finally back online and back in business.

The Benefits of Nike Running Shoes
The negative side of running barefoot is that you can suffer from puncture wounds in your skin. However, there are positive elements to barefoot running.
Most foot doctors will admit that running without shoes for a few minutes every day can be beneficial. The reason for this is that the ground you run on stimulates a nerve in your foot. This will cause the nerve to experience some responsive feedback. By doing this, the nerve lets your brain know what is happening to your body. Your brain will then be able to help you avoid injuries. Some examples of injuries that you can get from running are a sprained ankle and a plantar fascistic.
This leaves you with a dilemma. Do you run barefoot and experience the benefits that barefoot running can give you? Or do you take the other option and protect you feet with running shoes.
Thankfully Nike has come up with a solution to this problem. The Nike barefoot shoe gives you the best of both worlds. This Nike shoe is designed so that you can experience an authentic barefoot run without your bare feet stepping on something unpleasant. The shoe itself is very lightweight. It weighs seven ounces and generates the illusion that you are not wearing any shoes.
Aside from protecting your feet while you run this shoe also provides you other benefits. It is a stylish, high-tech running shoe that is easy to wear. You can buy these shoes at retail outlets both online and offline.

Safety is great when hiking
Thanks for the post, Arthur Lawrence
The sport of hiking is one that has been my favorite since I was a small child. Because I have lived in Alaska for most of my life I have been exposed to the wilderness and nature more then a great deal of other people. When the majority of the state you live in is covered in vast stretches of wilderness, you tend to explore quite a bit. Camping and hiking were two things that I always found enjoyable. Nowadays I simply set my home security system and head out for however long I wish, not worried at all about my home because of the 7 adt monitoring centers.
I particularly enjoy going to Eagle River with my friends and family because there are a great many lovely places there to set up a hiking area, camp, and have lots of fun. There are many other places in Anchorage such as the bluffs by the airport, and countless trails and hidden places of beauty within the city limits. There are so many that there is no need to conserve them or protect them. They are also so vast that there is no chance of modern building being put on them.
Safety is the most important factor when going hiking in the wild. Bears and moose are just two things that are dangerous. There are also many plants and falls that can hurt people. But, be safe and you will not have to worry!

Flu Vaccine
Yearly flu vaccination should begin in September or as soon as vaccine is available and continue throughout the influenza season, into December, January, and beyond. This is because the timing and duration of influenza seasons vary. While influenza outbreaks can happen as early as October, most of the time influenza activity peaks in January or later.
Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine each year starting with the 2010-2011 influenza season. While everyone should get a flu vaccine each flu season, it’s especially important that the following groups get vaccinated either because they are at high risk of having serious flu-related complications or because they live with or care for people at high risk for developing flu-related complications:
- Pregnant women
- Children younger than 5, but especially children younger than 2 years old
- People 50 years of age and older
- People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
- People who live in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities
- People who live with or care for those at high risk for complications from flu, including:
- Health care workers
- Household contacts of persons at high risk for complications from the flu
- Household contacts and out of home caregivers of children less than 6 months of age (these children are too young to be vaccinated)

Myrtle... A Dream Place!
While browsing the net and day dreaming about a wonderful vacation, I saw a website that lists the things that you can do in Myrtle Beach. Oh, I saw some of Myrlte Beach best hotels and I hope that someday I can visit there and enjoy the beauty of Myrtle. There are so many activities that the whole family can do in Myrtle. I will really love to stay in Horizon Resort, a Myrtle Beach hotel that lies conveniently in the heart of Myrtle Beach. This place is only a few feet away from the beach so it will be easy to just dash right away and enjoy walking in the beach.
I think this place is so perfect for fun and relaxation and if my hubby wants to play golf, he can do so right away too. For now, I will watch out for vacation deals at http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com. Who knows I might be able to afford one, and I can bring my family to this dream place.

AMC is more than just movies
Guest post from: Bruno Smith
There are so many new shows that are airing this fall and I am so anxious to see the new one on AMC. Being a movie channel, there has been some controversy on whether or not AMC could step up their game and branch out to original TV shows. I believe that they have proven their ability to do this with their recent dramas. The newest drama that will be airing this fall is The Walking Dead. I will definitely be watching this cutting edge show on my satellite TV from tvbydirect.com every week.
The Walking Dead is based on a graphic novel by Robert Kirkman and directed by the respected Frank Darabont. At the very beginning of this show, officer Rick Grimes is unexpectedly shot in the line of duty, and when he wakes up in the hospital he realizes he is all alone. Once he stumbles out he soon realizes that the world has been taken over by zombies, and to make matters worse his family is missing. So now Rick must take it upon himself to find his family and soon becomes a leader to the few survivors left. Together they search for the remaining survivors and a safe place to live without the zombies.
This show looks awesome and I am very excited to see it; it has been a while since a creepy and dramatic series has given me the chills like this one.

What Not To Wear Is A Favorite In Our House
Posted by Virgil Burks
So, I can watch episode after episode of What Not To Wear. The show takes people with not fashion sense at all, takes away all of their unstylish clothes and gives them money to shop for new ones. The new purchases typically need to fall into line with some of the information they learned from the two hosts, Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. Sometimes, I just cringe when I see the outfits that the women put together for themselves. Sometimes, they don't even believe that they need fashion help. But, by the end of the show, most women realize that they look so much better with the advice from Stacy and Clinton. I never miss a show because I watch What Not To Wear on satellite tv installed by the folks at the Directtv Maine site. Even if I have seen an episode before, I don't mind watching the reruns. I try to take away something from each show that I can incorporate into my current wardrobe. So far, I think I have learned a lot and would probably pass the What Not To Wear approval with flying colors.

Update of Your 13-month-old
At this age our toddler's been walking for months already or some is still happy just cruising, one thing's for sure: She's not about to slow down. With great delight, she'll soon learn that walking frees her hands to unroll reams of toilet paper, knock glasses off coffee tables, and empty your bedside drawers. What to do? Spend lots of time at the park, and notch up your childproofing efforts so your toddler has plenty of space to explore without getting hurt. Infos from babycenter
Evolving eating habits
Don't be surprised if your hearty eater's appetite has shrunk. It's typical for kids this age to eat a bit less and suddenly become more picky. This change may seem strange, considering how active your child is now. But because he's growing more slowly, he really doesn't need as much food.
Try not to pressure your toddler to eat more. Instead, let his appetite determine how much food he takes in.
Of course, even though you can't control how much he eats, you are definitely in charge of what he has to choose from. Keep offering a variety of healthy foods at every meal. Resist the temptation to let him snack on sweets and other not-so-healthy items out of worry that he's not eating enough. As long as he appears to be thriving, he's probably fine. As always, if you have doubts, talk to your doctor.
Repost from Baby Center Newsletter.
Your 13 month old have or will experience all this stage and milestones in their toddler life. Nothing to worry if you are wondering why you monster eater is now a picky eater. We always bragged how Justine eat. She was like non stop eater but lately she spits them all out and not eating the way she used to.

Saturaday Bloopers #1- Monkey Eating Poopy
Here is my entry. When we went to the zoo this summer, this monkey was so funny that he ate his poop right in front of us. I think it his way of entertaining his audience (just a guess)lol. It was so gross and yet funny as he enjoyed pooking his anus and licked his fingers.

I Love to Laugh at the Movies
Guest post by Jewel Cole
Going to the movies is always a fun night out for me. I head off to the local cineplex, setting my security alarm before I leave so I'm sure I don't come home to any unpleasant surprises. Once I'm there, I buy tickets to the funniest movie playing. I figure there's enough trouble going on in real life; when I head to the movies, I want to laugh. And being in a theater full of other people laughing seems to make the jokes even funnier.
Of course, to get the full movie experience, I like to buy a large popcorn and pop. I always set my Brookhaven NY ADT alert system. Then I kick back and enjoy the fun! Certain actors have a tendency to draw me in more than others. I'll always see a movie if Ben Stiller or Steve Martin is a part of the cast. I don't mind pratfalls and other silly humor like that, though I get annoyed when the humor gets really crude. Usually I got for PG-13 movies and don't tend to see the R-rated ones unless nothing else is playing.
I like all kinds of movies, but comedies are definitely my favorites, and I make sure to arrive early so that I can watch the previews and see what other movies to watch in the months ahead. I'll always make room in my budget for the movies!

New word - Ball and Milestones
We are too pre-occupied with our busy days and sometimes forget to notice Justine's development. She is just ahead in so many ways compared to Jake. Girls matures quickly than boys. Lamb chop's first word was Dada because she heard this from Jake, and she is capable to do lots of things that Jake didn't want to do when he was at Justine's age. I think that's the advantage of having an older siblings they look after them and follow what they do. So, today as I was sitting in front of the computer after i gave them lunch. Justine keep saying the "ball" and handed me balls. I didn't bother to recognized what that word was until i realize that it was a ball. I praise her and she was happy to hear it. Then Jake started taking all the balls that Justine got. Learning new words is part of baby's milestones and each words they say is music to every mothers ears.
Other activities and developmental milestones that my Lil lamb chop have been doing lately
~ She can climb anything chair, couch, table and working on the playpen.
~ Last weekend Joe forgot to close the fence. I was at the couch resting when I noticed Justine was gone. When I saw the gate or fence was open I run directly upstairs and there she was in the bathroom managing herself to get in the bath tub. That is how sneaky my little lamb chop is.
~ Every feeding time she wants to hold the spoon and feed herself. But of course hand and fingers always the best spoon for them.
~ I gave her a look when she sense she was about to do something naughty, so when we were in the kitchen and she had the spoon in her hand. I asked her to hand the spoon to me but instead she gave me a look.
~ The other day, it was Labor day we were having lunch and joe reprimand Justine not to pull the placemat, but the lambchop gave him a look and had a staring contest.
~ This morning i was in the couch watching TV, she came up to me and slap my face when i yelled at Jake. Then i asked her why did she do that and that was not nice. She gave me a look and pretend like crying.
~ She is also a Hi-5 fanatics so if jake is not around and she wants to watch the hi-5 she would get my attention and point her finger to the DVD and shake her booty.
~ She can now turn the TV on and off and so is the DVD player. She learned that from Jake.
~and more more sneaky, naughty, silly, funny stuff that Justine can do.

New roof forward
Guest post written by Paul Herman
This summer has been especially rainy, or maybe it just seems that way. I feel like it's an odd day out if it isn't pouring down rain during my commute home from work. That's really taken a toll on my outdoor activities that I like to do in the summer like grilling out and playing fetch with the dog, and it's made our old roof look even worse and added more water stains to it.
I had been putting off getting a new roof because we're trying to save up money to have an in-ground pool installed in our back yard but our roof was looking really ugly and becoming quite an eyesore. So I called SEARS new roofing San Diego and got an estimate. It ends up it didn't put as big of a dent in my budget as I would have imagined and decided to just go for it.
We went with another brown for the roof, this one a little darker so it wouldn't show stains as much. We're pretty happy with it. Now I just wish that we would have some kind of emergency that could only be fixed with installing a backyard pool.

She Got a Bo-bo
The little lamb chop who always every where climbing around got a big bo-bo in the forehead. She banged her head at the adge of the wall. Until now the bruise still in her head.
She is prone to accident like they said have to keep an eye on her closely. Yesterday, Jake and her playing and out of control Jake pushed her to the table. So, another bruise in here cheek again. Then, the day before all these she climbed on the chair and slipper and bit her lip with her two big front teeth. A bo-bo here, a bo-bo there and a bo-bo everywhere.

Looking at the Sky on Friday - Cotton Clouds and Angel Clouds
TGIF again. I hope we can relax this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. These were the look of the sky taken when I was in the plane going home from NYC. I wanted to take photos of the beautiful clouds while in the plane so even if my hand was full at that time i just had to take a quick snap with my cam. The first photo it looks like cottons and the second one looks like angels flying up in the sky. I love these pictures.

Favorite Educational Channel
Guest written by our friend Mason Abbott
My Favorite Educational Channel is undoubtedly Sesame Street on our www.tvbydirect.com satellite tv. This children program has been around for over 25 years. My children have grown to love Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, and all the other character both new and old who has been added to the show. Mr. Hover is the store owner and he plays his part very well. The people who portray these characters are loving and childlike. My children never got tired of watching their favorite puppet act out and either did I? My grandchildren have now joined ranks as their parents once did as a faithful viewer of Sesame Street.
The program is mainly geared toward preschool age children, and helps them focus on reading, spelling, numbers, and shape recognition. The PBS station is a privately funded show is as gained respect and recognition for its success and academic achievements in helping children be better prepared for school. The program is so informative that even toddlers can advance in their learning process if at all parents have the extra time to devote to helping their child, develop a intellectual approach to learning. They even have the DVD's that parents and teachers can rent from the public or school library. Sesame has and is still living up to its reputation as being one of the best free public educational program on Television.
