Yogurt Baby

My lamb chop is a good eater when it comes to yummy food. She is picky with vegies sometimes but most of the time she love to eat different kinds of food even bug hehe just kidding. (She tried to eat bugs when she was a baby, grosssss)

It's been a long time since we stock some yogurt in the fridge. When we were at the store I grabbed four pieces of yogurt and then gave it to then as soon as we got home. I was impressed how this lamb chop gobbled all the yogurt by herself. The next day there was only one yogurt left and I gave it to buckaroo. Jake got out from his chair and left the yogurt on top of the table half empty. The next thing I saw was Justine licking her hand as she finished it with her bare hands. She able to reached it and took matters with her finger lickin good hands.

Nothing Like Cheering for Our Home Team

Guest written by our friend Sergio Chaney

Every year me and my family go to see the Miami Heat play in Florida, which is where I lived by the way. This is something we have done for years, ever since I was born in fact. We get the car loaded up and we are ready to go, plus we never forget to set the home security alarm (CLICK) before going to each NBA game. Just the feeling of driving to our favorite team's game really brings the best out of me. And knowing that my family is here with me to enjoy the game makes me feel really good as well. Oh and did I mention I love taking extra cash with me because everytime I go to a Miami Heat game there is something new to buy. I can't wait for the next game to come up so we can be back on the road and cheering for our favorite team. Plus, I love buying cool and new stuff whenever we go to an NBA game as well. My entire family looks forward to these family trips.

Home for the Holidays!

Guest post written by Fred Danson

I am so excited to be able to head back home to North Carolina this week. Working down in Georgia has been great, but IÔve really missed having my family members nearby. Family is what really matters, and itÕs been hard getting caught up in work and having to put the important people in your life on the backburner. I always look forward to Christmas and getting some time off from work to go back to my parentsÕ house, stay in my old room like I did throughout my childhood, and catch up on some quality time with my folks.

For the next few days, I will be finalizing my travel plans. I canÕt wait to get back. I am also working on some presents to get my parents. I want to help my dad get a new pair of miracleear hearing aids, and I want to get my mom some high-quality kitchen items for her cooking hobby. ItÕs going to be really great to see them, and Saturday cannot come soon enough.

Broken Toys

Two of Jake's toys that both of them love to play with are broken now. I bought this guitar at the bargain store couple of years ago. It stopped playing and even if I changed the old batteries to a new one still not working. Then, that other toy, Jake and Justine kept gnawing or biting the tip of the pen until it broke and won't write anymore. These are just some of their toys that I find great and my dragons over used it.

Home Proofing Through Asbestos Survey

There is no better time than now to get yourself into good health and doing so begins in our respective home. Our home is our shield and protection against all different viruses. So, checking everything inside including the materials used in building our home is need to be inspected if it's free from asbestos. How will you find it out if it has asbestos or not? Well then, you need to have an Asbestos Survey & Inspection for your home or work building. Visit the website and read information, advice about asbestos, identifying asbestos, the cost of asbestos survey and much more.

A trained asbestos surveyor will perform the asbestos survey and inspection within a building and look for any presence of materials that may contain asbestos fibres. Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that can be broken down into strands, or fibres and was used in specialised products for fireproofing, waterproofing, insulation and soundproofing. Some products such as roof sheets, plaster board, pipe lagging, floor tiles, roof tiles, toilet cisterns, bitumen adhesive, Artex and many others may have contained asbestos up until around 1990. The simplest and safest way to identify asbestos containing materials within your property is to pay for an asbestos survey or inspection. Asbestos survey and inspection is a best way to home proofing.

You should be aware that the exposure of asbestos was linked to the cause of this rare form of cancer called Mesothelioma. Asbestos exposure can also cause other illness like lung cancer. Inhalation of asbestos fibres may put your health and family's health at risk. One of the things that you can do to avoid cancer is to avoid contact to asbestos. You would need to have asbestos survey in order to make sure that your work place or home is free from asbestos fibres or things that may contained asbestos. This is the simplest way to identify asbestos in your home or workplace and to insure the safety and protection of your love ones. Visit their website today and get an asbestos survey quote.

It's Amazing

They are happy with their presents. Jake said It's Amazing! That's enough proof how much he love Christmas because of the toys. Justine also love all the stuff animals she got. But when she saw the cookie in one of the bags she just rather eat cookie than finished opening the gifts. It was indeed a Merry Christmas.

Justine's Drawer

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Our kids had so much fun opening their gifts this morning and appreciating the gifts given to them by friends and family. It's fun watching your kids having wonderful time and seeing their eyes glowing with delight because of all the presents they got. Well, after Christmas it's time for my husband to do his long over due task which is to assemble Justine's drawer. We bought this drawer last September and up until now it is still in the box. Is Santa here yet?

Jake : Mama, come...let's walk
(holding my hand leading me to the Christmas tree)
Me : Where are we going Jake.( Not minding him, then went back in front to the computer)
The next day....
Jake: Mama, mama let's walk... open. Wanna play (pointing to the gifts)
What do you think my reaction was when i saw the half open gift?

After putting up the tree i placed these gifts underneath it. Without knowing it the buckaroo was secretly tearing it up and found out that there was a toy in it. He didn't stop and kept bothering me to finished what he was started so he can play with it. But to his disappointment I took the gift and put it in a bag. He cried of course because he wanted to play with it and he can't wait for Santa. Maybe he though that Santa was already here because the gifts had been sitting right under the tree for many days.

We've been getting gifts from Joe's colleagues, MIL, our good friend, neighbors and also on the mail from my SILs in Chicago and New York. I placed them under our Christmas tree and my dragons are itching to open it. I have to keep an eye on this gift because every now and then Justine will carry one around like some kind of toy. While Jake as usual will secretly open it to checked what's inside.

Taking a Nap with Dada

This little lamb chop doesn't like taking a nap. There are random days that she takes a nap if she is super tired. That one afternoon when Joe took my jijie, my sister to the airport, I also let these two bored dragons to play outside with snow. They had wonderful time. Joe came home from the airport and took a nap then this little lamb chop just crawled up and took a nap with him. I think that was really sweet and can't help it to take a quick snap.

Christmas gingersnaps for the kids

Guest post written by Erica Rice

I love this time of the year despite all the extra stress that I'm under around the time. Both of my kids are away at college so I get kind of a break when they're away from laundry and as much cooking and stuff like that. Even though I would love for them to be around year-round at home. So before my kids came home for the holidays, I tried to plan out as much stuff as I could.

I was online trying to figure out what kind of Christmas cookies I was going to cook for our upcoming annual Christmas party, when I came across some information about some wireless internet packages. I read it and after I went over it some more, clicked HERE to sign up for one of the packages.

I found a really great recipe for gingersnap cookies that I made to greet my kids when they got home from their college exams for the holidays. They really loved them and I think I might start making them every Christmastime from now on.

Having a Live-in Babysitter

Thanks for the guest post by Eugene Fulton

Today has been a long day and it is not over yet. I have so much to do as far as cleaning the house, getting laundry done, and starting dinner. My husband is at work so I will have to get this done on my own and hope that the kids cooperate with me. Sundays are usually hectic around here, because we are trying to get ready for the next work and school week. My children love to tag team me when my husband is not home, it is like they know they can get away with more when I am by myself. One thing I am thankful for is the Nick Jr. network, it is a kids program on satellite television that I got after seeing this Direct TV Comparison. This program entertains my children as long as I need them to. The station is not only kid-friendly but it is also educational. My children learn a lot from watching this program and it is pretty much the only station that plays in my house all day. I rarely get to watch anything else because the kids love it that much. I do not have to worry about purchasing numerous DVD's because this station has everything that the kids would like to watch. My children are a year old and four years old, so the best thing is that there is enough variety to keep them both entertained.

Sometimes i wish I have photoshop or some kind of software to where i can learn some digiscrapping. It's very expensive to buy that software so ill just settle in with free services from picasa.

Holiday Gift Ideas

I just finished perusing the latest news at yahoo and read the 6 Gifts Not to Buy This Holiday. I understand the point why flower is not the best gift idea to give this holiday. So before you decide to order some flowers on the mail call your friend or recipient first to make sure they are not going anywhere else or not planning on any holiday vacation. Sending Food Gifts by Mail would be a great gift ideas. But do not order the kind of food that get spoiled easily. Consider the shipment days and the packaging. As what it says in the news, buy gift basket of preserves instead of cheese or perhaps gourmet fruit basket as gift. Plenty of sweet treats and delectable food to choose from that you can include in the basket such as fresh and crunchy apples, cookies, chocolate covered almonds, peanuts and much more. The best part is this kind of gift is only worth $50 or below.

DIY jewelry organizer

Guest post written by Heather Kline

Since I started collecting a whole lot of jewelry lately, I've just been keeping most of it in shoeboxes organized by what type of jewelry, like bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. I do have a jewelry box but it stopped holding my jewelry collection a long time ago. I go through phases of when I'll buy certain things and I guess that right now it's just my jewelry phase. But now that I've spent so much time and money in my collection, I think that I should do something and storing it in a better way.

I went searching online for some kind of jewelry storage solution that I could find and while I was doing that I came across some website www.ClearWirelessInternet4g.com and after reading it, I chose to change over my internet service to it.

Well, I found all kinds of stuff, but I wanted to use the ones that show off my jewelry. So I went with this DIY jewelry organizer that was actually super quick and really easy to make. I think it gets points for the easiest craft with utility that I've ever made.

Cellphone Adik

She woke up at 12 midnight couple of nights ago and stayed up late until 3:00 in the morning. She played with her Aunt chel's cellphone. She dialed random numbers and texting as if she knows how to text then say hello with the phone in her ear.

My sister took pictures of them using cellphone. The smart lamb chop had been observing her how to take photo. So, she also tried to take photo even if she doesn't know which one to press.

DIY lap desk

Guest post written by Mark Howard

I've been tempted to go out and buy a lap desk for myself for a while that I could use when I'm reading or using my laptop on my couch. But, I just didn't have the heart to dish out the money for something that I didn't think was worth all that money. I even thought about asking for one from my kids for Christmas, but there were a few books that I would rather ask them for instead and I know that would cost less money.

I went online with our CLEARWIRE to try and find a way that I could just make a laptop desk myself. But then I started looking up the stuff and even though I could cut the wood part of it, I was having trouble figuring out how I would make the cushioned part that you actually sit on your lap.

But then I found some instructions for a DIY laptop desk that looked about as simple as I was going to find, so I decided to make that one.

Blue Monday - Blue IHOP

International House Of Pancake....America's #1 favorite pancake restaurant. Even if the line is long and lots of people waiting to get a table we still take our chances and decided to wait for 45 minutes. The lamb chop got tired waiting but she enjoyed herself doing baby stuff. Finally, they called our name and gave us table for four. The long waiting made these two dragon hungry and gobbled the foods like hungry dragons. IHOP is really good but I don't want to spend long hours on waiting rather than eating. Of course i still want to go back to ihop but not now, maybe on summer or someday.

Cold weather and back pain

I always get back pain when the weather gets cold. Right now I have a stiff neck in addition to my back pain. I woke up yesterday with pain in my neck and can hardly move it. I applied a hot compress on my neck last night to lessen the pain. I hate winter. It makes me feel lazy all the time and I'm always stuck inside the house. Anyway, this winter season some of you probably suffers from osteoarthritis because of the freezing weather. You might want to consider trying out glucosamine sulphate to relieves joints pain.
